In NSoE Phase II, research in the water sector will build on the work done during NSoE Phase I. R&D work is categorized into the following key thrusts: anomaly detection, plant protection and threat detection. While a significant amount of research has already been done in iTrust and other research centres, the focus in NSoE Phase II will be on practical aspects. These aspects include differentiation of anomaly due to faults/failures and cyber-attacks, and actions in response to anomalies.
