Jairo Giraldo received his B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering at the National University of Colombia, Manizales in 2010 and his M.S. and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad delos Andes, Bogota in 2012 and 2015 respectively. Jairo is currently a visiting researcher in iTrust at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. He is also a postdoc fellow in the Computer Science department at the University of Texas at Dallas where he is part of the Cyber-security Research and Education Center. His research interests include distributed control for the power grid, and cyber-security and privacy of control systems.
