This project aims to address challenges associated with automated synthesis of defence and incident response in industrial control systems (ICS). Research comprises of (1) developing a distributed monitoring technique that can coordinate multiple, component-specific monitors with an automatic synthesize protocol; (2) developing a technique for automatically synthesizing respond and recovery actions in case of an active attacker.
This research will impact the security in critical industry sectors, including water, energy, transportation, and manufacturing in Singapore.
Qualifications and Requirements for the position of Research Fellow:
- A PhD in computer science, with expertise on cyber security
- Proficiency in high level programming
- Good working knowledge of cyber-physical system
- Knowledge of formal method or machine learning
- Strong record of R&D capability
