This is the first time HASE is held in Singapore, and iTrust, Centre for Research in Cyber Security at the Singapore University of Technology and Design is proud and honoured to be the organiser for this year’s symposium.
Singapore is a global city and sovereign state in Southeast Asia and lies one degree (137 km) north of the equator, at the southernmost tip of continental Asia and peninsular Malaysia, with Indonesia’s Riau Islands to the south. Being near the equator, January sees an average rainfall 13 out of 31 days, with a mean temperature of 26°C (79°F) and high humidity all year round.
Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel has been selected as the conference venue for HASE 2017.
Overlooking the historic Singapore River, the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore is a premier conference hotel located near the waterfront precincts of Robertson Quay, Clarke Quay, and Boat Quay. The hotel is a 25-minute drive from the airport, and is also within close proximity to the Central Business District and the Marina Bay Financial Centre.
Its integrated dining destination houses Food Capital, an all-day dining buffet restaurant, Grissini, a Southern Italian restaurant and Tempo, a dynamic bar under one roof. A dining experience at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel provides a feast for the senses where setting, food, presentation and ambience combine seamlessly.
